Amy was born and raised in Colorado, always taking a holistic approach to healing. After getting married and moving to Hawaii, Amy saw an ad for massage school while working as a barista. This sparked an interest that has not subsided since. Amy began massage school in 2011 and hasn't looked back since.
Amy completed her education at the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2012. Here she was trained in a variety of modalities including Swedish, deep tissue therapy, sports massage, trigger point therapy, structural bodywork, cranial sacral therapy, reflexology, and shiatsu. Incorporating aspects of each of these modalities in each massge creates a unique experience for each client.
Specializing in myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy, Amy releases adhesions in the soft tissue in order to repair postural imbalances and increase mobility. Each massage is specifically tailored to the clients needs, creating a unique treatment each time.
Always itching to learn something new, Amy completed her certification for Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy in 2018. This technique has added new facets into her already integrative massage practice.
When not in the treatment room, Amy can be found in a yoga class, getting lost in a book, enjoying live music or some local food and drink. She enjoys spending time with her husband and enjoying all Colorado has to offer.
